Benefits of Nature's Edge Exterior and Interior Wood Finishes
- Longevity: All Nature’s Edge wood finishes are waterborne, which means they penetrate the wood surface and saturate the wood pores, ensuring the longest life of all finish types.
- Environmentally Friendly: Nature’s Edge wood finishes are made from 100% plant resins, so you can have confidence that they will not cause damage to the environment.
- Nature’s Edge is low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): VOCs are gases/odors emitted from the stain that can have short and long term adverse health effects. The VOCs are the lowest in the industry at under 100 grams/litre (current standards are set at over 700 grams/litre). Nature's Edge VOC levels are so low, in fact, they comply with standards proposed for far into the future.
All Timber Edge products clean up easily with soap and water. There are no hazardous chemicals to be disposed of.

- Application and Ambient Temperature Ranges: Nature’s Edge finishes can be applied in temperatures as low as 40 degrees F and as high as 90 degrees F. This wide temperature range makes it easier and more economical to get the work done on the homeowner’s schedule, and eliminates concerns of product failure.
In the past, with all finish types, successive coats could not be applied until the previous coat was fully dry. With its advanced formula, Nature’s Edge can be applied on a wet-on-tacky basis, speeding up the application process by 30% or more, thus saving the homeowner both time and money.
