We are situated in a rain forest which is home to a proficiency of cedar, fir, spruce, pine and other species of trees, making it a perfect setting for log home, timber frame and post & beam construction. Finishes 1st offers a full line of wood finishes products that are of the highest quality and the most environmentally friendly available. Our wood finish of choice is waterborne, the reason being that, when applied properly, it provides the longest possible protection and looks the most natural, highlighting - not masking - the wood's beautiful grain. To be sure, every good quality finish will perform well if maintained according to the manufacturer's directions; however, waterborne finishes will bring out the nicest look in the wood and will outlast the other types.
